What's Your Vision?

Habakkuk 2:1-4

Many Pastor’s always have a vision for his or hers church. Most pastors have these three as part of their vision:

1. Numerical Growth for the increase of church membership.

2. Personal Growth all of us to grow up in God’s word and matured in spirit and

3. Financial Growth which goes in God and in our home increase in paying tithes and bills with all that been explain what’s is your vision. In this scripture the Prophet Habakkuk demonstrates how to listen to God and understand what the purpose for a vision.

The Prophet Habakkuk is waiting for an answer and is showed that he must wait by Faith. The prophet is waiting for the Lord to answer his prayer. Today I’m going to give you points that will help realize how to engage with the Lord and with your vision.

First we must watch and pray. The prophet Habakkuk is on a watch tower watching and praying to God for answers. Most prophets are called “Watchmen.” A watchman goes to a high place to see all around and discern what is coming... and preparing to hear the voice of God The prophet explains the Lord answered me and said write the vision and make it plain upon the tables, so everyone can read and see it. LISTEN just like the Lord told Habakkuk to write a vision and make it clear so everyone can read it. We have to do the same, but God gives more instructions.

God told Habakkuk for the Vision is yet only for an appointed time, but at the end of the time. So the vision will not be accomplished immediately but in the period of the time frame fixed by God. The prophecy personified yearns for it’s fulfillment in “The End” and the prophecy will not deceived not, not in vain but surely come to pass. So wait for it the vision and accomplishment and it will not tarry meaning it will not fail to arrive.

Habakkuk did not say the proud shall live by faith but the JUST or the righteous shall live by faith. Faith here is spoken of its loving trust in God, confidence in his promises, resulting in due performance of his will. Romans 1:17, Hebrews 10:38
